I have had a deep affection for developing countries like Nepal and Bangladesh since working as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal 1967 - 1969.

I want to help students from those countries get admission in Canada’s most reputable colleges. I expect that students with Canadian credentials will do much better for themselves and for their own countries.

As a management consultant myself, I want to recommend to business executives and mangers that they acquire short-term training from Canadian institutions to upgrade their skills to meet the global need. I recommend Canada, particularly Toronto, as it is one of the world’s safest and most multicultural areas. Students from other countries will feel more welcomed here than anywhere else in North America.

Er. Deepak K. Shrestha, Vice President of the company will ensure that you get all of the support that you need.

I thank all of you for participating in this presentation program and hope to welcome you to Canada soon.

We want to see Nepal and Bangladesh develop fast economic growth just as their two giant neighbours, China and India, are growing. Economic development is enhanced by education and global networking. Nepal and Bangladesh could jump faster in their economies if executives are educated and trained in developed countries like Canada to compete in the global economy. This is the right time for Nepali students to choose Canada for advanced education.

Hundreds of thousand of students from all over the world come to Canada because their parents feel Canada is the safest and most welcoming country in the world to study, work and live. As a real estate agent in Toronto, I know the city very well and can attest to its safety and multiculturalism.

We want to make Canada accessible for students half away around the globe in Nepal and Bangladesh. We are starting in Kathmandu and Dhaka and, in the near future, will make it easy for students in other cities in Nepal and Bangladesh to gain access to a Canadian education. Similarly, we plan to bring to Nepal and Bangladesh access to more and more reputable colleges and universities across Canada.

To get back a return from our investment for very short term, we could plant flowers. For the medium term, we could plant trees. But when you invest in education and training, the return is forever. That is why I have always had a deep interest in training and education.

I had the privilege to establish the first computer training institute in the western part of Nepal 1991. And when I was Executive Director of “Pashchimanchal Finance Co. Ltd.”, a government-regulated financial institution in Nepal, I was always happy to coordinate training for our own officers as well as for officers of other financial institutions in the region. I also enjoyed providing training to the board of directors during my tenor as President of the Rotary Club in Nepal.

We people from developing countries like Nepal and Bangladesh should be educated in a developed country like Canada which is known as the best country in the world to live, study and work. Students from both countries could help their homelands directly or indirectly after being educated in Canada.

I have long wanted to provide access for our students to Canadian institutions but it took me four years to determine the best colleges in Canada. My starting point is Toronto, the largest city in Canada and fifth largest in North America. Toronto is the corporate head quarter of Canada; one sixth of jobs in Canada are created in Toronto alone. As an authorized representative I can now provide access for our students to two of the most reputable colleges in Toronto: Centennial College, the first government funded college in Ontario, and Seneca College, the largest government funded college in Canada.

We will work hard to ensure that the investments that students and their families make in a Canadian education bear fruit forever.
